Many accountants tell me that clients are becoming increasingly fee resistant towards annual accounts and tax compliance work. However, there are many strategies, tactics and techniques you can use to communicate value and price that reduces a clients sensitivity to price. One proven process is the what I call “The contract renewal letter”. This process enabled me to increase my own fees back in 1999 by nearly 40% with very little adverse reaction.
